One of the main features of Pocket Gym is that it allows users to record their fitness history, which is a feature that users are very satisfied with. Pocket Gym's Note function implements the usual "self-management sole app" level of functionality and UI.

The users may record their daily food intake, weight, body measurements, exercise routine, and so on. They can write and record simple notes, or collect them for each category and compare them. In addition, users who exercise using the function of Samsung Health can immediately retrieve and record Samsung Health's exercise records.

The Note function is a great way for users to use the service and see their cumulative performance over time visibly. It can be a means of data collecting and be the basis for future data-based fitness-related businesses.

In the future, we plan to further upgrade the function by reflecting the opinions of users.

Chat function is a function that allows users to talk to other participant during the time of the quest. This is a function that focuses on "goal sharing and communication", which were among the "goal-setting theories" that have previously become the basis of the solution.

In the case of "Alone Mode," the will to achieve the goal may be dampened in the middle of performing the quest alone, but through the chat room, you can see others progress and get motivated so that you can achieve your goal.

"Together Mode" opens chat rooms for each quest, and other users authenticate in real time. You can share what you do, and it's used as a means of decentralized verification.

The feed is largely divided into notices and quest reviews.

Notices are mainly for events//membership benefits/new quest launches, and so on, while the quest reviews are the success stories or experiences of users who have participated in quests.

To keep the feed function active, Pocket Gym also rewards those who leaves a review and/or get chosen as the Best Reviewer.

Sound partner function is a function that cheers up the users when they are participating a quest (to be developed). Especially for high-intensity exercise quests, there will often come a moment when users feel exhausted or want to give up performing the quest alone. For moments like this, we are developing this feature to be implemented.

Exercise quests are created by team trainers with professional qualifications who conduct test quests directly and through simulations targeting members of different athletic abilities. That's why we know which sections are tough and a few minutes after the start of a workout when the users will want to give up. At moments like those, this feature kicks in.

Take the quest “Complete 5 km of riverside track course in 30 minutes” as an example. In order to cover 5Km in 30 minutes, the average speed (M/H) must be maintained at 10Km. If not sprinting, you have to run pretty fast. And if a crisis comes when you pass the 2km mark, the cheerleaders will help you forget the pain and focus on the goal. We will do that by throwing a meaningful “cheer up message”.

We want our users to succeed in their quests and achieve their desired goals. We never want them to fail their quests.
